Courage to Trust

Daily Scripture Threshing for Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Today’s Text: Judges 6:13 1:1-24

Key Verse: Judges 6:13 (NIV): ““Sir,“ Gideon replied, “if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us?.””

While we remain in the flesh, we face situations that constantly bring us into doubts about ourselves, our potentialities, and even about God and His words. But when we are jolted to such point, God wants us all o remember Gideon. He wants us to grow in our trust for Him regardless of our situation.

What are you going through that’s making you begin to doubt who you are, and who God is? Gideon was there. Things were so bad with him, his family and nation that they cried out to the Lord. But each man needed the courage to trust the Lord to rescue them.

Friends, times are tough no doubt, but God wants you to grow in your trust in Him. Gideon doubted everything until God had to send an Angel. God is sending this word today so that from our own threshing floors we may see that God is with us; so that we may trust Him, and arise boldly in His strength and let Him (God) bring out His mighty valor in us.
