OUR AFFILIATIONS

It's our pleasure to share what we represent

HOPE CHURCH

HOPE is an acromym of House Of Prayer Evangel.

We are a multi-national self existing, self governing, self propagationg and autonomous assembly of believers. We believe that each faithful local church is a manifestation of the heavenly assembly or church that presently gathers in the presence of God and that we will one day gather in the presence of God with all the saints. We believe that nothing other than Scripture and Christ himself govern the affairs of a local church. We understand that the congregation as a whole bears final responsibility on earth to guard the church’s doctrine, select the church’s leaders, exercise church discipline, and govern church membership.

Nevertheless, we believe it is good and God-glorifying to join with other gospel churches to advance the kingdom of God. In an effort to cooperate with other churches of like mind in advancing God’s kingdom, we are in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention and the Tarrant Baptist Association.

THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST LINKS

Through a unique affiliation with the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention, we continue to maintain relationship and cooperation with The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a fellowship of Baptist churches who freely cooperate with one another through state fellowships of Southern Baptist churches called ‘state conventions’ and county-sized fellowships of Southern Baptist churches called ‘associations.’ Through the cooperation of over 40,000 churches, the SBC is able to support the cause of world missions and seminary education.

Our affiliation with The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is through the State Convention, Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC) with whom we share a unique partnership.

The Southern Baptist of Texas Convention (SBTC) was founded in November of 1998, exists to facilitate, extend and enlarge the Great Commission ministries of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist churches and associations in Texas, upon the authority of God’s inerrant Word, to the glory of God the Father, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
