OUTREACHES

YOUNG BUT USEFUL

HOPE Church organizes variety of things to reach the youth population in our community. Our goal is to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer, boldness in evangelism and commitment to social involvement.

A.  Reaching Hands

Reaching Hands is a friends connect or connecting program: A program through which interest groups and engage a lot of fun making activities such as sportings and games and competitions, we reach out to the needs of our young people.

B.  Excelling Minds

Engaging youth in reading and developing their minds. The goal of this vision is to raise gosly genius and future leaders that will take the world for Jesus and instill the culture of godliness and justice everywhere.

OPERATION ALFA

Operation ALFA is the core of all that we do at HOPE. ALFA is an acronymn for Abundant Life For All.

The church we see is a missionary equipping and sending station where 52 weeks a year, missionaries are being sent out into places of humanity and to the uttermost parts of the earth with the saving power and message of Jesus Christ, our Lord. It's a church whose doors are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – and where ministry is not restricted either to the fall walls of the church or any designated service times.

HELP & WELFARE MINISTRIES

Under the leadership of Banke Aremu, who is Director of Help and Welfare Ministries, HOPE Church organizes variety of help programs. Some of these include:

A.  Home Care Ministry

Reaching expectant parents matches you with an encourager who prays for you, answers questions, and brings you a meal when you may need one. You’ll also learn more about our facilities and arrange your baby’s dedication. This ministry also provides compassionate care for those who suffer loss through death or miscarriage.

B.  Hospital Ministry

Our hospital ministry ensures care, prayer, and presence for our members and their loved ones who have been hospitalized. Please fill out the form below, and someone from our Pastoral Care office will be in touch. If you are not a church member but would like for us to pray for you, we would like to partner with you in that way.

C.  Prison Ministry

In keeping with the vision of this church, (hope for all nations), we are called to minister to the lost and broken, knowing that just as Christ saved us and continues to sanctify us, He also desires to rescue those still suffering from the consequences of past sin. The Prison Ministry at First Dallas sends trained volunteers to current inmates to teach, share the gospel, form relationships, and see the captives set free.

D.  Widows' Ministry

Our Widows Ministry is just one more way we place premium on community and connection. Living out the praises found in Psalm 68:5, each quarter we host seasonal retreats and luncheon for widows, where featured guests provide entertainment or address topics of interest.

COMMUNITY ACTION

A.  Operation Feed the Nations Campaign

It is the goal of our Feed the Nation Campaign to takes food stuffs to at least 144,000 people in a year either on the streets (where the homeless and needy people are), or right under our shelter (in our community center), or across the local community that we serve, i.e. Grand Prairie Texas, and other parts of our county (Fort Worth, Arlington, Bosque, Hamilton, Hurst, and Grapevine depending on policies of our food or help sources). It is also our plan to raise money among ourselves annually to go to heartlands of Africa carrying out food and water programs.. A project depending on the free will giving of members of the church and others who would gladly skip a lunch in order to donate its money for an entire month in the year.

B.  Operation Dine with the KING

This is a food pantry plan in which we look forward to see families come to feed at the table of HOPE regularly as the Lord provides. We are so glad to be able to this. We are grateful for the food, cash and kind donations and for the donors, from within and outside the church. Many gospel seeds are being planted daily to the glory of God!

C.  Christmas Hamper Campaign

Both at Thanksgiving and Christmas, it is our goal to always give out 1000 Christmas hampers to single parents and low-income families, the hobless and the homeless in the community. Each hamper contained everything required for a delicious dinner including a 5kg turkey or chicken as the case may be.

D.  Operation Bethany

Jesus often return to the home of Mary, Martha and their brother Lazarus to meet their physical and spiritual needs. This is a replica and continuation of the ministry of Jesus to people wherever they are and/or live. We help seniors and neighbours in keeping their lawns and lending other helping hands.
