Daily Scripture Threshing for Monday, February 1, 2021
Today’s Text: Revelation 22:11-21
Key Verses: Revelation 22:17 (KJV) — “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

There has been countless of witnesses and testimonials offered all along the journey through the Scriptures. Witnesses that are so true that they would not spare themselves. And though there exists thousands of years in generational differences and gaps between them; yet the unity of their messages remains unalloyed. They all pointed down like a single funnel passing down great and veritable revelation of God to earth. Though they are many, and belong to different generations, their message is one. Throughout all generations the Spirit of God has moved men to herald the same message in different ways.
The same river has flowed for centuries and has satisfied the desires of generations. It is still flowing today, and anyone who is dirty may plunge in and wash and be clean from sin, and spiritual defilement. Any leprous may wash in it and be clean. Anyone who is thirsty may drink freely and thirsts no more. That water is Jesus Christ: He is the spirit of the revelation? He is the secret behind prophets, judges, priests, kings and writings. We have redemption through his blood, and find forgiveness of sins in him. All wearied travellers who are faint and heavy laden may come to the water and find refreshing from their perils. The invitation is consistent and unanimous through all the prophets and writing: it is the conclusion of all scriptures. Anyone who thirsts can freely come to the river of life giving water. He is Jesus Christ the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Quote for the Day: ”Salvation is both from and of the Lord. There is no other name in heaven and on earth by which men may be saved.” (Simon Olatunji)
Prayer: Thank you Lord for taking us through the journey from Genesis to Revelation. We pledge our allegiance to You Lord. We shall continue to love you and follow you, in Jesus name. Amen.
As I welcome you to the new month, I congratulate you for seeing the end of the Let Series. With all my love and prayers,
Rev Simon Wale Olatunji, PhD
