Daily Scripture Threshing for Today, Sunday, March 1, 2026
Today’s Text: Exodus 14:10–18
Key Verse: “And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.” — Exodus 14:15 (KJV)

The Lord’s command to “go forward” came in a moment of crisis. The Red Sea stretched before Israel, the Egyptian army thundered behind them, and fear gripped their hearts. Yet heaven interrupted their cries with a command—not to retreat, not to reason, but to move. This is God’s word for His people at the edge of impossibility: “March Forward.”
Often, what is before us, those things behind, and the crises within our own hearts can so terribly ground us and prevent us from moving forward. The forces of Pharoah behind represent the weight of our past; the Red Sea represents the present struggles; while the fears that grips them from within stands for our inner turmoil. These things can paralyze us, right? Yes! It's easy to get stuck focusing on what's behind us or what's currently stressing us out, and forget about moving forward.
This texr is reminding us that we gotta trust God and move forward, though things seem impossible. Faith is forward-moving. It thrives not in comfort zones but in crossing points. When God says, “march forward,” He is not suggesting a direction—He is declaring deliverance. The path may be blocked, but obedience opens seas. Every step forward in faith invites a miracle to manifest. Movement matters, because miracles meet motion.
The Red Sea did not part while Israel was praying—it parted when they began to march forward. There comes a time when prayer must translate into progress, and faith must express itself in forward steps. God does not call us to freeze in fear; He calls us to forge ahead in faith. The same God who led you in February now leads you into new victories in March.
So, rise up, beloved! Step out from hesitation into holy momentum. March forward from old failures into fresh favor. Move from what was into what will be. God is ahead of you, behind you, and within you. The sea will not stop you—it will serve you.
Action Steps: Take time to journal or meditate on what's holding you back. Is it a past mistake, a current crisis, or inner fear? Pray about your struggles. Focus on the next right step. Focus on faith and trust that "the Lord will fight for you." Declare boldly today: “I refuse to stand still in fear. I will march forward in faith, trusting the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way.”
Quote for the Day: "Faith does not wait for the sea to open; it marches forward until it must.” — (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)
Let Us Pray: Father, thank You for calling me to march forward into a new month with purpose and power. Give me courage to move when comfort tempts me to stay still. And, even the power ro breakout when situations try hard to ground me down. Let every obstacle become an opportunity for Your glory. As I obey your command to march forward, make the impossible possible, and part every sea before me — in Jesus’s mighty name, Amen.
