Out of His Fullness

Daily Scripture Threshing for Today, Monday, August 3, 2026

Today’s Text: John 1:14–16

Key Verse: John 1:16 (KJV) — “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”

Life’s journey is filled with moments when our own strength runs thin and our goodness falls short. Times like these remind us that life is not sustained by what we can manufacture, but by what we receive from Christ. In such seasons, you need a grace deeper than effort; an abundance that flows from His fullness. This was true of the believer’s hope in Christ: from Him comes life, mercy, and supply enough for every need. True satisfaction begins when the soul learns to draw from His fullness.

When the heart is filled with Christ, emptiness loses its voice, and insufficiency loses its power. At such moments, striving grows quiet, and grace speaks louder than shame. That is why we must come first to Him, before we attempt to stand in our own strength. When His fullness is received rightly, our weakness is seen truthfully. Pride bows, fear loosens its grip, and gratitude rises above anxiety.

Every genuine encounter with the Lord reveals how much we need Him and how richly He provides. The gift of grace does not flatter our self-sufficiency; no, it brings us to the fountain that never runs dry. It brings us to Christ, from whom we receive grace upon grace. Show me a man who has tasted His fullness, and you have seen a life that is being renewed, restored, and sustained by divine abundance.

Beloved, this is a day of fresh supply and overflowing grace. You have carried enough burdens, and borne enough lack; but today, you will receive of His fullness and you will not remain the same. The flow of His grace will turn you from a struggler into a steward and from a receiver into a testimony. By what God will do today, your heart will be renewed by His presence and strengthened by His grace. So much so that you can say, “I am full because He is full.”

Action Step: From today, and beyond the just concluded powerful prayer conference, always set aside tangible quiet moment to worship before you work—such as personal quiet time or this Dew of Hermon. Pray, “Lord, let me receive from Your fullness above every shortage, every weariness, and every need. Fill me with Your grace, and make me ready for Your purpose.” Receive His fullness first, and let everything else take its place.

Let us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, my King and my Holy One, open the eyes of my heart to receive from Your fullness above every earthly lack. In the hour of weakness, let me draw Your strength; in the hour of need, let me receive Your supply; in the hour of calling, let me answer with grace. Fill me, prepare me, and position me for Your purpose today—in Jesus’s most glorious name, Amen.
