Today’s Text: Luke 23:26-56

Key Verse: Luke 23:43 (KJV): “And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

If asked what the greatest news could be today—especially for such a troubled time as this. I guess what most people would answer is: wipe away the terror of the ravaging pandemic. Yes, that would be apt because since Jesus wipes away sins’ great epidemic, He can do this also. I tell you, no greater news exists than to know that Jesus Christ who has power over all things lives today.

And, yes, because He lives, we too will live eternally. Jesus sacrificed His life on the cross so that we could be forgiven of our sins and get back in right standing before God. Do you let this thought fill your heart? Do you trust Jesus as your Passover Lamb who gave His life willingly for you? Don’t miss the greatest news: accept the resurrected Christ into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior today.
