Today's Texts: Isaiah 64:1-5
Key Verse: Isaiah 64:4 (ESV) — “From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God like you, who acts for those who wait for him.”

Expectation is faith's eyes looking forward with confident and worshipful gaze toward a future shaped by God’s promises rather than, or regardless of, present circumstances. It is more than mere wishing; it is the forward‑leaning posture of trust in the God who is faithful to His word. Regardless of His time or His way, even when nothing visible has changed, expectation is faith in motion—i.e., a faith which stretches its neck, watching, waiting, and preparing for what God has spoken to manifest.
In this year of waxing very strong, low expectation will only limit God's demonstration. To wax stronger in expectation is to live in full anticipation. God acts for waiters. Today's text assures us there's no God who has no equal, and who is already moving on behalf of those who wait for Him. No ear has heard and no eye has seen the full extent of what He is able and willing to do for those who refuse to rush ahead, but instead anchor their hope in His character and timing.
We are not promoting a passive resignation to life here; rather, we are charging for an active, prayerful life of readiness—holding steady in obedience, worship, and trust, knowing that the God who acts for His waiting people will break in with answers, interventions, and wonders beyond anything we could design for ourselves. He reserves the unheard, and unseen wonders for those who expectantly wait. Don't let a low expectation produce low manifestation in your lige. Determine to wax strong this year. Approach every service, worship, giving and obedience with a mindset that something unusual is coming your way.
True expectation sharpens spiritual sensitivity. To wax stronger in expectation is to position for God's never-before. There are wonders prepared for expectant hearts, surprises for spiritual antennae raised high. This year, your high expectation will pull up high manifestations for you. When routine dulls and predictability lulls, lift your expectancy. Waxing stronger in expectation marks you as heaven's forward scout. Your "God will do it again" faith will birth "never seen before" testimonies.
Action Steps: Today, before every meeting/prayer, declare "God will do the unusual!" Write your top 3 expectations for this week. Review Friday - mark God's faithfulness. Live expectantly every moment.
Quote for the Day: "Expectation pulls manifestation. As you wax stronger in anticipation, God will shatter your 'never before' records." — (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)
Let Us Pray: Dear Lord Jesus, sharpen my expectation to God-level. Deliver me from routine Christianity and low anticipation. Prepare me for what eye hasn't seen. Let me experience Your never-before wonders. In Your mighty name, Lord Jesus, Amen.
