Today’s Text: Judges 6:11-24
Key Verse: Judges 6:14 (HCSB) — “The LORD turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you have and deliver Israel from the power of Midian. Am I not sending you?"

Have you ever wondered and asked yourself where the sun went whenever the clouds gather so thick. Well, the sun goes nowhere. It is always there, hidden under the clouds, always awaiting God’s commanded moments for it to shine. Circumstances of life always jolt us into such moments of dark feelings. But there is always a residual might in each believer that no darkness can resist. That isthe same way our faith is whenever, as believera we go through hard moments. So, though you go through clouds, they cannot change the nature of your shining light nor of our conquering faith. That is your inner strength. And this is very true of every believer in Christ. We all carry untold strength. Dear brother and sister, do you feel like you are a paradox of yourself? Do you feel weak and strong at the same moment? Just take a look at Gideon.
Maybe you even think, right now, that your faith is not enough for the challenges you are facing. May be like Gideon you could not even face the enemies. Gideon had to sneak into his own farm to steal some harvest, and hide in the wine press to thresh out a few grain. He could not recognize anything in himself that could make a difference. Yet, the angelic visitor sees enough might in him which is sufficient for him and all his generation. Quit living the opposite of who God created and called you to be. There is an unstoppable power in you; you only need to first yield to, and believe the divine command to walk in it. Stop considering your stature. David did not need to build muscles before he was preferred to the hefty Eliab, or before he brought down the head of giant Goliat. Gideon did not need muscle milk to inflate his present stature; yet he made it to the same hall of strength list with Samson in the New Testament.
Quote for the Day: “It is not the size of faith that determines its efficacy; it is its character. (Simon Olatunji)
Prayer: Lord, help me to discover my inner strength, and walk in it, in Jesus' name. Amen.
With all my love and prayer,
