Today’s Text: Acts 23:1-11
Key Verses: Acts 23:9 (KJV) — “And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.”

It is the end of another month; and it is another opportunity to take some spiritual stock and inventory of our spiritual journey of rue month. In the last couple of days, God has been challenging us on the significance of keeping a clean record before the watching world. Today also, He wants us to take a cue from Apostles' exemplary lives. We all have a past. Apostle Paul was a Pharisee: as far as we know according to His testimony. However, he teaches us that once we come to Christ, we can no longer be unequally yoked with elements of the past. We are a new creation and all things are new.
Often, whenever we take a turn about-face; our past tends to hunt and hurt us. Our past seeks to fault us and to draw us back at all costs. The Sadducees teamed up with the Pharisees to draw Paul back or draft Him into a fall. This is always our enemies’ gimmick; but no matter the natural, metaphysical or supernatural methods to drag us to their mus; they are bound to fail as long as we have renounced odious works of darkness. No doubt, men shall hate us on the account of Christ; but be that as it may, they should not be able to lay a charge against us. They found no evil in Christ. They found no evil in Paul. They should find none in us. Therefore, anyone who fights against you will be fighting against God.
Quote for the Day: “Apart from prayer, the best strategy of the Christian man in combating satanic fromtiers is integrity.” (Simon Olatunji)
Prayer: Dear Lord, give me the strength to walk in integrity. And Lord, whenever I am wanting, bring our me to Your light so that I can shine Your unquenchable light and love in Jesus' name. Amen.
With all my love and prayers,
