Today’s Text: Revelation 19:1-10
Key Verses: Revelation 19:7 (KJV) — “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”

If you ever attended a worship concert in which you feel so raptured in the presence of God that you wished heaven should just begin right away, you might just be about the closest you could get to the glamour of worship that awaits the church of the raptured saints. Nothing on earth could explain or compare the glory and joy that is reserved for the believers in Christ. Handel tried to capture the worship by writing the "Hallelujah Chorus:" one song that is capable of transforming every worshipper to a near-heaven experience. Yet, it still a foreshadow of the inexplainable gladness and glory that shall be ours at the marriage supper of the Lamb.
The melody of that great day shall defile any segregation and color: it shall be a chorus of united praise. It shall be a joint convocation of victory over the common ancient adversary. Whereas the smoke of the fire that consumed the adversary rose up forever and ever, the praise of the redeemed bursts forth in the presence of Christ. Everything and everyone is ready for the Marriage Supper of the Lamd. The end is closer than we thought. The twenty-four elders, and the representatives of the creation of God, the four living creatures are all ready to unite with all the redeemed in this praise, in this prostrate worship of Jesus Christ. Perhaps what is delaying this glorious encounter is the readiness of the church, which is the bride of Christ. Are you ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb? Are you washed in the blood of Jesus Christ? Have you genuinely received the forgiveness of sin from Jesus Christ and made Him your Lord and Savior? When all these are ready, then you can join the chorus. You are qualified for the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Quote for the Day: ”Salvation is both from and of the Lord. There is no other name in heaven and on earth by which men may be saved.” (Simon Olatunji)
Prayer: O Lord, count me worthy, and make me ready for the glorious feast with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
With all my love and prayers,
