Today's Text: Joel 2:23-30
Key Verse: Joel 2:28 (NIV): "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions."

The whole world worships today in different languages, tribes and tongues; but there is a common thirst and desire for an outpouring of God's Spirit. This desire has been preceded by a promise from God, Himself, to pour out His Spirit on all people, who seek Him, regardless of social standing, enabling them to connect to deeper realms of spiritual maturity. All these blessings with cosmic signs and wonders are also promised to precede the great and awesome day of the LORD, when the Lord shall return for His people both to judge the wicked, and give salvation for those who call on the name of the Lord.
Right now, we are like parched lands thirsting for refreshing rain of this promise. Our souls long for this life-giving outpouring of God's Spirit. But we can rejoice because God's promises are not a distant unreality. He us willing to restore us if we return to Him. Throughout Scripture, He beckons to us to turn to Him with repentant hearts. And, His boundless love is ever waiting to renew and restore us to Himself. God wants to renew us, but we must approach Him with humility, prayer, and a sincere turning away from wickedness. God responds to the cries of His people. He is ready to pour out His Spirit in abundance. But this outpouring requires a receptive heart that is willing to surrender, return to Him fully, and flourish in His love.
Action Steps: Take time today for sincere repentance, confessing any areas where you have drifted from God. Dedicate specific time to prayer, asking God to pour out His Spirit on you, your family, and your community. Actively seek to turn away from any ungodly habits or attitudes, embracing righteousness and holiness.
Quote for the Day: "In revival, God stirs our hearts to provoke a desire for Him, and pours out His Spirit on all His receptive and repentant people." (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)
Let Us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your glorious promise of revival and for Your willingness to restore us. We humble ourselves before You today, repenting of our sins and turning our hearts back to You. Pour out Your Spirit upon us, Lord, that we may experience a profound awakening and draw closer to You — in Jesus's most glorious name. Amen.
