Let God Alone Be True

Daily Scripture Threshing for Monday, March 9, 2020

Today’s Text: Romans 3:1-8

Key Verse: Romans 3:4 (CSB): ”Absolutely not! Let God be true, even though everyone is a liar, as it is written: That you may be justified in your words and triumph when you judge.”

Circumcision or uncircumcision the apostle, in the two preceding chapters, has been able to show us that, Jews or Gentiles, all men stand in desperate need of a Saviour. Every human has lost his place before God and lives under a fractured reputation. No circumcision and religion will profit anymore who fails to accept and trust God’s provision for sin and eternal life.

Religion helps our heart, spirit and lifestyle, but it does not save us from sin and its consequences—what does is the precious blood of Jesus, who has then been given a name whereby all men may be saved. Therefore, regardless of how profound a religious philosophy may be; it is nothing but deceit of the devil or at best, self deception. No other name is given under hif their. On this note and all biblical truth, all men improvisions are false, and God alone is true.
