Daily Scripture Threshing for Today, Monday, November 3, 2025
Today's Texts: Psalm 36:5-10; Lamentations 3:22-23; Titus 3:3-7
Key Verse: Psalm 36:7 (ESV) “How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”

We are blessed with numerous Scriptures that reveal time and again that God’s loving kindness is not just an abstract idea, but a living reality that sustains, restores, and transforms every life open to Him each day. In Psalm 36, David describes the steadfast love of God as reaching to the heavens, His faithfulness ascending to the clouds. In Lamentations, amid sorrow, Jeremiah proclaims unwavering hope, "the steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” The apostle Paul, in Titus, describes how God’s kindness and love appeared and saved us—not because of our works, but by His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
God’s loving kindness is the river that refreshes our parched hearts. It sweeps away guilt, shame, and fear, watering seeds of sonship and hope. Each day, it rushes to meet us not because we deserve it, but because it is God’s nature to love relentlessly and lavishly. Our brokenness is not a barrier; rather, it is a channel where His kindness flows most deeply. In the arms of His mercy, we discover security, identity, and worth—beyond the world’s fleeting approval.
Learning from these scriptures, we realize that God’s loving kindness is our safe haven. His compassion envelops us in life’s harshest storms and longest nights. He lifts us up when we fall and renews us even when our strength fails. Like children who run for shelter beneath the wings of a parent, we are invited to dwell in the shadow of His unwavering love—a refuge where no darkness can swallow us.
It is through faith and surrender that we bathe in the river of loving kindness and let it shape our attitudes and responses. The world often sees kindness as weakness; God defines it as His most powerful gift. Every act of His mercy—every answered prayer, every moment of forgiveness, every restoration—becomes a testimony in our lives. When we reflect this kindness, we reveal more of Christ to the world: a people marked by grace, generosity, and unwavering hope.
God’s loving kindness is the heartbeat of the gospel. It is the steady note undergirding every promise and every deliverance. Believers are called to receive it daily and, in turn, to be conduits of that love, showing mercy, seeking to reconcile, choosing compassion over condemnation, and living as guardians of the message that His love is endless.
Action Steps: Pause and reflect on the depths of God’s loving kindness in your life today. List the ways He has shown mercy and kept you safe. Receive His love anew, and pray for grace to extend the same loving kindness to others. Resolve to let each word and action flow from that river of mercy. Let it become a living witness to His goodness. Rest in the assurance that it is His kindness that leads us to repentance and transformation.
Quote for the Day: “God’s loving kindness is the river that supplies our parched souls needed restoration through the wilderness of life—refreshing, healing, and making everything new.” (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)
Let Us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father and gracious Lord, O how I thank You for Your unending loving kindness that never fails and never gives up on me. O please, let me know its fullness today again. Let me take refuge in Your mercy and let it remake my heart. Teach me to see myself and others through Your eyes of compassion. Stir me to respond to hurt with healing, to offense with forgiveness, and, neglect with generosity. Let my life, dear Lord, carry the echo of Your loving kindness to a world desperate for hope—in Jesus’ name, Amen.
