Undefeated

Daily Scripture Threshing for Wednesday, November 2, 2022

Today’s Text: Jeremiah 20:7-18

Key Verse: Jeremiah 20:11 (ESV): “But the Lord is with me as a dread warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumble; they will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed,

for they will not succeed. Their eternal dishonor will never be forgotten.”

In the United States’ Fashion market, there is the brand named undefeated. It was established in 2002 as an authentic lifestyle brand & sneaker store inspired to create and sell sports, art, music, and street wears; the brand literally live up to its name and is now worth hundreds of million dollars. God’s people are dressed in a lifestyle of undefinable gear. Prophet Jeremiah had many enemies that desperately pursued after his life. He suffered insults and injuries so badly; but because of the power that is at work in him, he they should stumble in could make bold to declare the fact of his incontestable victory. Despite enemies ways of violence, and regardless of their deadly strikes, they shall never prevail. God’s people are undefeated. As long as they walk under the covers of divine covenant, they can never be put to shame. In this month of November, and always, God shall never allow you to be brought to shame. You are eternally under the comfort of God's presence, and His protection and promise is made sure.

Prayer: Dear Lord, please give me the power to trample upon every power of the enemies. Enable me with grace to emerge victorious, and make my life an emblem of victory — in Jesus’ name. Amen.
