Daily Scripture Threshing for Tuesday, June 1, 2021
Today’s Text: Isaiah 35:1-10
Key Verse: Isaiah 35:1 (ESV): “The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus.”
How best do we share the joy of this June’s touch blessing than start out with such amazing scripture as this?! This text among other messianic texts of Isaiah is a most outstanding prophetic masterpiece and poetry by Isaiah. God assured His people, Israel, and the church of peace, prosperity, and glory which shall be in the exchange for all that they would not desire, or all that they have suffered.
This is a new month; and just as each day is a fresh journey that we have not traversed before, the month comes with its yokes of uncertainty. However, if we walk with the Lord in trustful reliance and faithful obedience, even wilderness, and the solitary place shall be glad for us for what He would do for us as we journey with Him. Things will turn around for us beyond our expectations and above the natural order. Through us, men who were blinded by sin and darkness shall see God. That is the metaphor expressed by "the eyes of the blind be opened." And by "the ears of the deaf unstopped" described how men shall become obedient to the gospel by the manifestation of the power of God. David saw and foretold this when he said: "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth." (Psalm 110:3)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for your ever-abiding presence in my life. Please help me to experience the glory and the blessing of following you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
