Today’s Text: Isaiah 45:22
Key Verse: Isaiah 45:22 (KJV) — “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”

God does not call us to stare at our troubles, our limitations, or our own strength, but to look unto Him for salvation and help. He knows that where we place our gaze shapes where we place our trust, and where trust goes, the heart follows. In today’s text, the Lord gives a simple but powerful command: “Look unto me.” He does not ask us first to fix ourselves, explain ourselves, or defend ourselves; He asks us to turn our eyes toward Him. Salvation begins with a redirected gaze, for the soul is often healed when it learns to look away from everything else and behold the living God.
Where are you looking when fear rises, when pressure increases, and when the road seems unclear? Some look to people, some to money, some to achievements, and some to their own understanding. But all such sights eventually fail, for none of them can save the soul or steady the heart like the Lord. To look unto God is to abandon spiritual confusion and receive divine direction. It is to confess that He alone is God, and there is none else.
When faith lifts its eyes to Him, hope is restored, strength is renewed, and salvation is received with fresh confidence. As a child of God, today’s deeper living is found in a holy reorientation of attention. Stop feeding your anxiety with endless looking at what is broken, and begin looking at the One who is greater than every broken thing. The Lord who calls you to look unto Him is also the Lord who is able to save, sustain, and satisfy.
Action Steps: Take a few quiet moments today to identify what has been holding your attention most strongly. Surrender that focus to the Lord in prayer and intentionally replace worry with worship. Choose one Scripture to meditate on throughout the day that lifts your gaze to God’s greatness and goodness.
Quote for the Day: “What you keep looking at will shape what you keep believing; look unto the Lord, and your soul will find its rest.” — (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)
Let Us Pray: Lord God, I lift my eyes to You alone. Forgive me for the times I have stared too long at my problems and too little at Your power. Teach my heart to look unto You for salvation, strength, and peace. Be my focus, my hope, and my help, and let my life testify that You are God and there is none else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
