You Shall Find.

Daily Scripture Threshing for Today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026

Text: Matthew 7:7-11

Key Verse: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” — Matthew 7:7 (KJV)

Today’s threshing reminds us that God is not hidden from the earnest heart. Jesus gives a promise that is both simple and profound: when we ask, seek, and knock, we shall find. This is the language of faith, persistence, and holy hunger. In a world filled with unanswered questions, closed doors, and delayed hopes, the Lord still assures His children that sincere pursuit will not be wasted.

To seek God is to move beyond casual interest into intentional pursuit. Many want answers, but not enough to seek. Yet the kingdom responds to those who come with faith and perseverance. Matthew 7:8 says, “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” God is faithful to reveal, answer, and open what belongs to His purpose in your life. The hidden things of grace are found by those who keep coming.

This is also a word for every weary heart carrying stress, pressure, and uncertainty. Prayer is where we turn our burdens over to God and trust Him with what we cannot control. In that surrender, we do not only receive direction; we also receive comfort. And when God comforts us, He equips us to comfort others who are walking through their own places of searching and need.

Action Steps: Today, ask God specifically for what you need, seek Him intentionally in Scripture and prayer, and keep knocking with faith. Refuse to let discouragement silence your pursuit. Declare daily that you are not abandoned in your search, because in Christ, you shall find. Let the peace you receive become encouragement for someone else who is still seeking.

Quote for the Day: “What you seek in faith, you shall find in God’s time and by God’s hand.”— (Simon Olatunji #quotablequotes)

Let Us Pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise that those who ask, seek, and knock shall find. Strengthen my heart to pursue You with faith and patience. I surrender every stressor, burden, and unanswered question into Your hands. Comfort me with Your presence and make me a comfort to others. — in Jesus' most glorious name. Amen.
