Today’s Text: John 11:38–44
Key Verse: John 11:40 (ESV) — “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
God’s glory is often revealed where human strength has come to its end. When Martha stood before the tomb, she saw a sealed stone; Jesus saw an opportunity for the revelation of the Father’s power.

The Lord does not ask us to understand everything before we believe. He asks us to trust Him in the place of delay, disappointment, and what looks permanently closed. Faith is the doorway through which the glory of God is seen.
In today’s text, Jesus confronted grief, unbelief, and finality with one commanding word: “Lazarus, come forth.” The same voice that called the dead back to life still speaks hope into hopeless places. Where men see burial, Christ sees resurrection.
To see the glory of God is to witness His power, His mercy, and His faithfulness breaking through what no human effort can change. Sometimes the delay is not denial; it is the stage upon which God will display something greater than we asked for. The stone may be heavy, the tomb may be closed, and the smell may be strong, but none of these can resist the glory of Christ.
Child of God, believe again. The situation before you is not too far gone for the Lord to reveal Himself. Keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep standing at the tomb with expectation, because where Jesus is invited, glory is never absent.
Action Steps: Identify one place in your life that feels sealed, delayed, or dead, and bring it before the Lord in faith. Remove whatever “stone” of unbelief, fear, or resignation has kept you from expecting God’s move. Speak one promise of Scripture over that situation today and wait with confidence.
Quote for the Day: “Faith does not merely survive the tomb; it stands there until the glory of God is revealed.” — (Simon Olatunji #quotablequote)
Let Us Pray: Lord Jesus, I believe that You are able to reveal the glory of God even in the darkest places of my life. Strengthen my faith where I have grown weary, and remove every stone of unbelief from my heart. Speak Your life into dead situations, and let Your glory be seen in my home, my calling, my health, and my future. In Your powerful name I pray. Amen.
