Thinking about Grace

Daily Scripture Threshing for Monday, April 1, 2024

Today’s Text: James 4:6-10

Key Verse: James 4:6 (ESV): "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

It's a new day and a new month, and as the sun rises, so does God's grace in our lives. Like the dawn breaking forth in splendor, His grace illuminates our path, dispelling the shadows of fear and doubt.

In this new month, we are reminded that grace is not just a gift, but a constant presence that surrounds us. Like the air we breathe, it is always available, always sufficient for us if we approach Gid with a humble spirit.

Yes, we can only embrace this grace with humility and gratitude, recognizing our dependence on Him. May we walk in the freedom and empowerment it brings, and may our lives reflect the beauty and glory of our Lord. May His grace be our companion throughout the day, and may our heart be filled with the wonder of His love.
