Today’s Text: Proverbs 3:1-10
Key Verse: Proverbs 3:5 (NASB) — “Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.”

A little girl who was a first time traveler once boarded a train through the country, and her train was obliged to cross two branches of a river and several wide streams. The thought of the waters awakened doubts and fears in her because she did not understand how the waters would safely be crossed. As her train drew near the river, and her fears aggravated, a bridge appeared, and furnished a way over. Two or three times the experience was repeated, and finally she leaned back with a long breath of relief and confidence. So, she expressed her relief as follows: “Somebody has put bridges for us all the way!”
Her story seems to be the story of all of us. We nurture fears of the unknown: evils, troubles, dark clouds, waters of confusion, mountains that seems insurmountable before us, etc. but in our journey of faith, we always find that God already made and always makes a way through them. God has built bridges for us all the way. All we need to do is trust the Lord with all your heart. When we feel so lost in the maze of things, struggling amidst weights of incomprehensible situations; and our struggles and vain guesses seem not availing; our surest course of action is to put our hands in God with trustful reliance in the God who is able to lead us safely.
Quote for the Day: “Nothing guides man’s feet along the pathways of peace like faith in Jesus.” (Simon Olatunji)
Prayer: Lord, help me show diligence to the full assurance of hope;never becoming slack in faith, but imitating those who through faith and patience inherit your promises, in Jesus name. Amen.
Please enjoy the presence of God through worship today... With all my love and prayer,
